Hi!

welcome to the space between

This year's birthday as one for the books. I turned 25 which is exciting and scary and depressing all at once for this anxiety ridden girl. BUT the celebration was amazing and lasted for a week. Couldn't have asked for a better group of humans to spend it with, either.

Some of the girls!

Some of the girls!

It started with a super long winded boozy brunch at 23Hoyt with some of my favorite people - best friends, siblings, and boo. I accidentally on purpose dressed up as my favorite emoji/spirit animal and drank one too many mimosas. Our waiter was slow but I didn't even care. Watching my different friend groups come together and meet for the first time and just totally hit it off was the best gift! Tons of belly laughs were had that day. And then the waiter dropped a ramekin of ketchup on to a table downstairs and we all had a big OMG WTF about it. RIP to Michelle's dress and that dude's jeans below us.

Just over here having a proper fiesta, folks.

Happiest.

Happiest.

Naturally, I wasn't done drinking after brunch so Kyle and I went home for a quick outfit change and headed up to Stone Cliff Inn for a couple of John Dalys and some well deserved sunshine. I don't know how or why I've never made it to that place before. The views are incredible and you're just tucked up in the hillside above the river so it's a perfect date night spot! I wish we had tried the food - it all smelled delicious - but there's my excuse to go back another time.

Goals for this year are to grow my little business so it's not so little come this time next year, do some craft shows, go to weekly farmer's markets, cook more at home, and try to be a little more zen and a little less high strung. Not sure if that last part will ever truly happen, but a girl can dream!

Happy Birthday to me :)
